THE PRESSURE OF TESTS & COURSEWORK

I do love this time of the year, as it’s near Christmas, but I absolutely hate it as it’s the time where we have coursework deadlines, that always seem to pile up and tests ooooooooo, they drive me mad, this is when I gain a few pounds. I don’t know about you but I seem to always take my stress out on food, a whole lot of chocolate and sweets. It’s my cure and joy lool.

Deadlines and me have never mixed well, I always submitted my coursework (essays) a week later after the deadline, I blame it on my laziness, but I am actually proud of myself I seem to meet deadlines since I came here, that might have to do with the zero tolerance policy they have or either I have improved my attitude towards studying, but either way am happy.

Tests have never been my thing, this is due to fact I panic a whole lot and never seem to understanding what am revising for, I guess in way I am just a loon. But in some way when the results of tests are out, they affirm to me what I have learnt so far and what I need to improve on. Tests don’t bring me down they just seem to motivate me, its sets a challenge for next time. Coursework, I used to think it was just an evil way of teachers torturing us making us write 1000/2000 word essays on titles that seemed to be a whole lot of crap, until today I still don’t understand the theory of coursework and also referencing system (Harvard and Oxford) complicating my life kmmmmmt . I would rather do an exam or test than spend a whole month or week on an essay, it’s just bare long.
